Brief Description: Control stick to systems interface wiring
My brother Bernie came by to help so we tackled the control stick wiring. First we did another of Bob Nuckolls "How to Articles" Ray Allen macservo extra mini d-sub connector fabrication. The description can be found at Aeroelectric.com Articles. Then we began populating the connector with pins. We ran the microphone PTT wiring, the autopillot disconnect switch wiring and finally the aileron trim wiring. We also installed a molex quick disconnect connector for the right control stick to make it removeable. We soldered the autopilot disconnect circuit wire to the autopilot control panel connector and installed the connector backshell. Lastly we fabricated another extra mini d-sub connector for the aileron macservo and began routing and connecting the wiring for it as well as for the flap position switch and the elevator macservo. By the end of the work session we had the aileron trim fully functional.
